Lumberton Alumni Scholarship
Annually, the Lumberton Alumni Chapter awards scholarships to graduating, college bound high schoool graduates of Robeson County. The number of scholarships is subject to availability of funds generated from various fundraisers hosted by the chapter. The selection of students is based primarily on academic achievement, community involvement, extra-curricular activities, and the submission of a scholarship application and essay. The recipients and amounts of the scholarships are determined by the Lumberton Alumni Scholarship committee. To apply for a scholarship, prospective students need to complete an application. Due to limited funds, it is advised that students apply as soon as possible. Scholarships are usually distributed in June at the NPHC of Lumberton Academic Signing Day ceremony each year.

Keep Moving Forward Scholarship Fund
Graduating seniors of Robeson County, the Keep Moving Forward Scholarship Fund is back again. If you have DECLARED your major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math related) and will type a 500 word essay, you could be our next recipient. The last day to submit your essay is May 31, 2018. Please send a copy of your acceptance letter (or any document with your school and major), along with your 500 word essay to:

The essay question for this year is,"If you had the authority to change your community in a positive way, what specific change would you make?" ONLY use 12pt font Times New Roman. Deviating from these basic requirements will disqualify you. Your name, high school, and contact number should be listed at the end of your essay. NO MINIMUM GPA REQUIRED! This scholarship includes a new laptop, all-in-one printer, flash-drive, and a laptop carrying case to make your college transition easier.
